SEN Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with autism in a nurturing, small-class environment? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in North Liverpool.

About the role:

Support pupils with autism in small, structured SEN classes

*
Work closely with the class teacher and wider team to deliver personalised learning and care

*
Encourage communication, sensory regulation, and positive behaviour

*
Provide consistency, empathy, and a calm presence throughout the school day

What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally autism

*
Patience, resilience, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education

*
Team player with strong communication skills

*
DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
