Nine Twenty are working with a fast-growing, multi-award-winning scale-up based in Glasgow to recruit a talented and ambitious Data & Insights Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop and grow within a business that is rapidly scaling and driven by innovation.

In this role, you won’t just report numbers—you’ll help shape data-driven strategies. You’ll turn insights into compelling stories that influence real business outcomes. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about data, curious by nature, and eager to contribute their ideas in a vibrant, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Understand Client & Business Needs

Analyse client briefs to uncover the real business challenges.

Show curiosity and dig deeper when engaging with stakeholders.

Be proactive in solving problems, using data to offer actionable solutions.

Design & Execute Consumer Research

Create impactful, engaging surveys that generate valuable insights.

Manage the full research cycle from design to data cleaning and reporting.

Align insights with client objectives for maximum relevance.

Deliver Insightful Reports

Work with large datasets, applying analytical techniques to uncover trends.

Turn complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Build visually engaging, insight-driven client reports and presentations.

Help streamline internal insight generation and reporting processes.

Ensure Accuracy & Drive Improvement

Uphold high standards for data quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Collaborate with internal teams to optimize workflows.

Meet deadlines and maintain excellence across all deliverables.

Contribute to Innovation & Business Growth

Bring fresh ideas for collecting, processing, and visualizing data.

Help shape internal reporting strategies.

Participate in team discussions and thought leadership activities.

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who has:

Strong numerical and logical problem-solving skills.

Experience in consumer research and survey methodologies.

Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Clear written and verbal communication abilities.

Strong data handling skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar).

The ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

A keen eye for detail and a high-quality, customer-focused mindset.

A proactive, curious, and adaptable personality.

Experience building relationships and managing stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

Experience in the FMCG industry is a plus but not essential.

A track record of delivering high-quality insights under pressure.

Demonstrated creativity and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
