Engineering Manager – Production Environment

Are you ready to take the next step in your engineering leadership career? We’re seeking a driven and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead and shape an evolving team within a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role:

As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, driving performance, and ensuring high standards across production. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and be expected to lead by example—both in strategic planning and on-the-tools support.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and production standards.
Collaborate with production, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless workflow.
Manage engineering projects from concept to completion.
Maintain equipment reliability and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Be actively involved in hands-on engineering tasks when required.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering management within a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and man-management skills.
Engineering qualification or equivalent technical background.
Comfortable working on the tools and leading from the front.
Proven ability to implement and uphold high standards.

Desirable:

A current Assistant Engineering Manager or Team Leader looking to step up would be considered.
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
