To achieve this, we are expanding our technical team and seeking Skilled Mechanical, Electrical, and Dual-Skilled Technicians to join our operations in Somerset.
About the Role
We are looking for highly skilled professionals with experience in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles-including aircraft, civilian, and military applications. The role involves working a mixed shift pattern over 42 hours per week, carrying out general examination work, maintenance, and repairs on electric locomotives and their heavy components, with a combination of electrical and mechanical activities.
* Salary: Basic earnings of £45,580.00 per annum, with overtime opportunities allowing earnings of up to £50,000 per annum.
* Additional financial benefits can be gained from passing modules within a Technical Matrix, 9 in total with a £1,500.00 pa reward for each one passed
In addition we offer a class leading benefits package which includes 33 days leave pa, and ultimately a final salary pension plan
We are looking for Technically astute Team Players that live within a max of 1 hour from the Depot and are working hours flexible as the team operate a shift pattern
