Early Years Tutor – Bury (BL9)
Are you an Early Years specialist with a passion for nurturing the foundations of learning?
We’re looking for a calm, patient, and experienced tutor to support young children in Bury who are currently not accessing mainstream education. These pupils may be in Reception or Key Stage 1, and for a variety of reasons—such as developmental delays, SEN, or anxiety—they need tailored support in a quieter, more personalised setting.
Tuition is delivered on a one-to-one basis, either in the home or in a local public venue such as a library. Sessions typically focus on developing early literacy, communication, social interaction, and number skills in a gentle, engaging way that suits each child’s pace and style of learning.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in Early Years education who is looking for a flexible, meaningful alternative to the classroom. Whether you're a qualified teacher or have significant experience supporting early learners, we’d love to hear from you.
What to expect:
One-to-one support for pupils aged 4–7, tailored to their individual needs
Opportunities to make a real impact outside of the traditional school environment
Flexible working hours between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday
Pay between £25–£30 per hour depending on experience
Sessions held in-home or in local libraries within the Bury area
You’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced team who understand the importance of matching the right tutor with the right child. If you’re passionate about early years and want a role where you can truly make a difference, apply now with your CV.
