Applications Engineer - The Role:
Design and implement machine vision applications for a range of automated inspection systems
Collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers, suppliers, and customers to deliver complete project solutions.
Produce technical documentation, specifications, and test studies to ensure robust system design.
Support machine build, installation, and commissioning (including FAT & SAT).
Provide on-site and remote training to customers, helping operators get the best from their new systems.
Create vision demos and proof-of-concept solutions for proposals and evaluations.
You’ll be based at the Oxfordshire HQ, with occasional UK travel (around 5–10%) for site commissioning and training visits – typically short trips of 2–3 days.
Applications Engineer - The Person:
Degree-qualified in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an engineering environment – automation or manufacturing experience preferred.
Interest in machine vision, image processing, optics, or AI technology.
Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
