Key Responsibilities:

Provide knowledge of the residential childcare sector to empower learners in their apprenticeship journey

Conduct thorough assessments of learners, tailoring support and guidance effectively

Guide learners in developing crucial skills, including Mathematics and English proficiency

Nurture and support a caseload of 40 learners, ensuring success at EPA

Strategically plan teaching and learning activities with a robust assessment process

Regularly review learner progress, adapting coaching strategies as needed

Offer valuable information, advice, and guidance to foster holistic development

Efficiently manage E-Portfolios for all learners

Experience and Qualifications:

Hold a teaching qualification such as PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed, or equivalent (desired)

Occupational competence working in a residential care home for children

Hold an assessor's qualification such as CAVA, TAQA, A1, or equivalent (desired)

Hold a qualification in Residential Childcare up to level 5

Willingness to undertake any relevant training or qualifications to stay at the forefront of the field

UK driver's license with access to own vehicle
