We are looking a quantity surveyor experienced railway based projects. If you have experience in railway QS projects then this is the role for you!!

Job duties -

Contracts and procurement: Reviewing ITT’s & Contracts with the estimating & bid teams and advising on the risks within. Knowledge of NR4, NEC3 & NEC4 would be advantageous. Tasks include recording and monitoring variations to the contract, and ascertaining the costs involved. Manging subcontractor accounts and raising payment certificates where necessary.

Measurement: Monitoring site reports as they arrive to advise clients on early warnings of change. Measuring construction works on site and from drawings to assist with estimation of tenders. It also involves recording progress and valuing the work, based on agreed contract rates. Submission of applications for payment.

Cost forecasting: This involves forecasting the final costs of projects or work packages (individual contracts within a project). You will review tender documents and contract variations and use this to calculate the final figure payable.

Monitoring profit and loss: Working with the Pro Rail Commercial Director you will assist with compiling periodic reports to show the progress of a project. Tasks will include recording costs incurred and future costs, producing summaries showing monies coming in and going out, monitoring risks, and reporting on factors likely to affect profitability.

Liaising with clients: You will need to attend meetings with clients and advise them on any commercial issues that arise.

Pay Rates - 45K-50k (Dependant on experience)

Location - Warrington
