A forward-thinking academy in the Forest of Dean area is seeking a Teacher of Art and Photography to join its thriving Visual Arts department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent post suitable for an experienced teacher or confident ECT with a passion for digital and traditional media.

The school has invested heavily in its creative arts provision and offers well-equipped art rooms and a dedicated digital suite for photography and media arts.

Your Role Will Include:

Teaching Art and Photography at GCSE and A-Level

*

Encouraging experimentation in traditional and digital processes

*

Supporting students with coursework, portfolios, and exhibitions

*

Leading workshops and contributing to whole-school displays and gallery events

Requirements:

Art/Photography degree and PGCE/QTS

*

Strong portfolio of classroom or freelance practice

*

Ability to teach Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) desirable

*

Keen to nurture creativity and develop individual style
