An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join a leading company in the logistics sector. This company is known for its commitment to operational excellence and innovation, making it an ideal environment for ambitious professionals looking to further their careers. The Procurement Manager will play a vital role in developing and executing category strategies, ensuring procurement processes are aligned with business objectives while driving cost savings and enhancing supplier relationships.

**Responsibilities Included**

- Develop, manage, and execute category strategies in line with procurement policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build internal demand plans and manage supplier relationships.

- Ensure compliance with company ethical standards and health & safety regulations.

- Lead contract management and ensure supplier contracts adhere to relevant legislation.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.

**Skills and Attributes**

- University degree is desirable; MCIPS preferred or working towards it.

- Over 5 years of experience in a Procurement Management role with a focus on service and supply contracts.

- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.

- Proven ability to facilitate strategic supplier relationships and deliver results in challenging environments.

- Strong collaborative and influencing skills with a focus on teamwork.
