Location: Cross-site – Gloucestershire (Cheltenham, Gloucester, and associated facilities)
Salary: Competitive, aligned with NHS Band D2

The Opportunity:
* We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Capital Project Manager to lead the delivery of estates and infrastructure projects across our healthcare estate. You will manage projects from feasibility through to completion, coordinating internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery.
* This is a hands-on role requiring strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and a solution-focused mindset. You’ll be part of a supportive team driving real change across our built environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver capital projects from design to handover
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, building regulations, and NHS standards
* Manage project budgets, timelines, and documentation
* Oversee procurement and contractor performance
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners
* Promote equality, diversity, and continuous improvement
* Support professional development across the project team
Ideal Candidate:
* Relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or electrical disciplines
* Health and safety training relevant to estates or construction projects
* Experience managing complex projects in healthcare or regulated environments
* Strong technical knowledge of compliance, regulations, and project planning
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Chartered status or professional membership desirable
* Committed to inclusive practice and professional development
