Job Title: HGV Technician
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Hours: Full-time, various shifts available
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Technician You’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a modern fleet of buses and coaches to ensure they remain safe, compliant, and ready for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician

Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on PSV vehicles
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Ensure all work is completed in line with DVSA standards and company safety procedures
Prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out preventive maintenance
Maintain accurate records of all work completed
Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime and maintain fleet availabilityRequirements of the PSV Technician

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle / PSV / Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Understanding of DVSA standards and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
