Technical Surveyor & Designer – Overview

We are working with a highly successful and established Renewable Energy company based in Bristol who are looking for a Technical Surveyor & Designer to join the team. They operate within a 30 mile radius of Bristol installing and maintaining Heating, Heat Pumps, Solar and other energy efficient systems on domestic properties.

As Technical Surveyor & Designer, your time will be split between Site, Office and Home and they can be flexible with hybrid working for this role. Primarily, you will be responsible for the survey and design of Heat Pump and Solar Systems. You will attend scheduled meetings to survey customer properties, taking measurements and calculating Heat Loss before producing the system design.

Some houses will be for PV or Heat Pumps only; some will be for both. The company currently use OpenSolar for their Solar designs and GreenPro for their heat pumps but it isn’t necessary for you to have experience in these.

Due to the requirement to customer sites, a full UK driving licence will be required.

Technical Surveyor & Designer – Requirements

* Technical expertise in Heat Pumps or Solar

* Ability to carry out Heat Loss Calculations

* Experience surveying domestic properties for ASHP’s & Solar

* Driving Licence

* Salary £40,000 - £50,000
