Job Title: Floor Layer / Floor Fitter
Location: Halesowen and surrounding areas
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 2.5 years

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Floor Layer / Floor Fitter to join our team working on occupied social housing and flats across Sandwell. The ideal candidate will be experienced in laying vinyl flooring and latex screed, with a keen eye for detail and a professional approach. You will be responsible for completing high-quality floor installations in kitchen and bathroom areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Install vinyl flooring (capped, coved, and welded) in kitchens, bathrooms, and other designated areas.

Apply latex screed to ensure a smooth and even surface.

Work in occupied properties, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and maintaining a clean, professional workspace at all times.

Ensure all work meets industry standards for quality and safety.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Floor Layer / Floor Fitter.

Expertise in laying vinyl flooring, including capped, coved, and welded vinyl, and applying latex screed.

Own transport and tools required for the role.

Professional, courteous, and reliable, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and the team.

Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
