Unqualified Teacher - Wellingborough

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Salary: £90 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and motivated Unqualified Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to gain hands-on classroom experience while working towards a potential teaching career.

About the Role

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting the school with daily cover needs, delivering pre-planned lessons, and maintaining a positive and focused learning environment. You do not need Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to apply-just confidence, resilience, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.

Your duties will include:

Delivering set lessons across a range of subjects (no planning required)

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Supporting learners of varying abilities and needs

Supervising students during lessons and transitions

Ensuring a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom atmosphere

Providing support to teaching staff and contributing to school life
