Highly skilled and experienced Risk Assessment, FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and Problem-Solving expert to join our client’s engineering team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of their vehicle systems by conducting thorough risk assessments, FMEA analyses, and implementing effective problem-solving strategies.

Vehicle Risk and Reliability Engineer (Electrical) Role:

* Conduct detailed FMEA analyses on vehicle systems and components to identify potential failure modes, their causes, and effects.

* Perform comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate the severity, occurrence, and detection of potential failures.

* Utilize 8D problem-solving methodology to identify, analyse, and resolve system issues.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

* Lead and facilitate FMEA workshops and meetings, ensuring active participation and contribution from all relevant stakeholders.

* Document and maintain FMEA reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

* Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams in the identification and resolution of system issues.

* Continuously monitor and review FMEA processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

* Stay updated with the latest advancements in FMEA methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and problem-solving strategies.

Vehicle Risk and Reliability Engineer (Electrical) Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

* Proven experience in conducting FMEA analyses and risk assessments within the automotive industry.

* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.

* Proficiency in 8D problem-solving methodology.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency in FMEA software tools and methodologies.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
