M Pro Recruitment is working with a well-established materials handling equipment provider to recruit an experienced Workshop Engineer to join their Cranbrook depot.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preparation of forklifts and materials handling equipment in a busy workshop environment. This hands-on role ensures all equipment is fully operational, safe, and ready for customer use.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, repair, and maintain forklifts and other MHE in the workshop

*

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

*

Carry out pre-delivery inspections and prepare equipment for use

*

Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation

*

Work closely with field engineers and support the wider team

Requirements:

*

Proven experience working on forklifts or materials handling equipment

*

Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Package:

*

Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience

*

Monday to Friday working hours
