I am looking for a Senior Accountant to join an accountancy team that supports small and medium businesses across a range of sectors.

You'll manage your own portfolio, work directly with clients, and act as a go-to for juniors. It's a great mix of autonomy and support, with clear routes to progress.

What you'll be doing:

Preparing accounts, payroll, tax planning, bookkeeping and tax returns for a portfolio of SME clients

Supporting more junior staff and reviewing their work

Building trusted relationships with your clients

Spotting opportunities to add value, streamline, or offer advice

What you'll need:

Solid experience managing a client portfolio in practice

Strong tax knowledge (corporation tax, personal tax, VAT)

Comfortable with cloud-based accounting tools (Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent)
