Our client are a family owned transport company, with headquarters in Kent and other offices in Ipswich, Folkestone and West Yorkshire, in addition to European offices in France, Spain, Italy and Poland.
They specialise in UK and European roadfreight, for ambient, temperature controlled full loads and groupage.
Within the UK they operate their our own fleet of fridges. They are BRC accredited, AA certified, as we work with many leading food manufacturers across UK and Europe.
Although our client is known for temperature controlled predominately, they are equally growing their ambient division as well, targeting all different sectors, not just the food industry.
They are looking for an internal sales executive or sales executive to join their commercial team. The candidate will be responsible for selling UK and European transport and customs.
The right person to fit in with their team would be someone who works well with a team, but can think off their own initiative. Would have a desire and hunger to be successful. Willing to learn and ask questions. Confident, as that is key in sales. Punctual.

Location: Remote, anywhere in UK, or can work out of our Folkestone/Dartford or Ipswich office in a hybrid role to suit.
Experience: Must have previous Transport / Freight / Parcels or Pallet Distribution experience nd some exposure to Sales, but also full training will be provided. The successful person must be willing to learn.
Package- Open to salary expectation, in line with the market circa £30,000 to £35,000 DOE and possibly more. Commission structure once they have covered their cost, is 10% uncapped, based on any new business generated, for 12 months. Reviewed after 1 year.

- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working as part of the wider team to ensure quotes and activity is given back to the customer as soon as possible
- Potential international travel to visit a customer or trade fair with the European Sales Manager
