CAMM Systems Design Engineer

Hybrid working (2-3 days per week on-site)

Our client, a key player in the defence and security sector, is seeking a CAMM Systems Design Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent position for professionals passionate about obsolescence management and systems engineering. You will be joining a dynamic team dedicated to sustaining and enhancing customer capabilities through the delivery of product increments and spirals.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing Systems Design activities at Missile level for the CAMM Obsolescence programme.
Developing the bid strategy for Systems within the CAMM Obsolescence programme.
Coordinating multiple sub-system stakeholders to deliver the Design Assurance and Certification plan.
Leading systems design and technical trade studies successfully.

Job Requirements:

Experience in systems engineering, with special emphasis on:
Requirements management and Use Case analysis
System architecture design, justification, and traceability
Interface definition
Design assurance and verification planning
Certification
Proficiency in using Rational DOORS for creating and managing requirement modules and associated verification modules within formal change processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.
Excellent verbal communication, listening, and time management skills.
A desire to develop and grow systems engineering skills and improve methodologies within the team.
