With that in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for a TIG Welder - Fabrication and Welding to join the company supporting a major project to fabricate a range of pieces for the food and beverage industry.

Duties

As a suitably experienced and qualified TIG welder you will be working in a clean, modern, well-equipped workshop in Daventry. Primary responsibilities will be to fabricate metalwork from technical drawings, load jigs, tack, then weld up the assembled components. Typically, TIG welding tubular, rectangular and square section with the associated plate and mesh infills to form machine guards, troughs, hoods, jigs frames, balustrades, and safety railings. Other duties will include fabricating and TIG welding thin wall stainless steel pipework work from drawings provided as necessary and as required.

About You

Ideally living in Daventry/Coventry/Northampton, or within a short commutable distance of NN11 8UF.

Demonstrable experience of TIG welding within a workshop environment, specifically thin wall stainless steel pipe spools, is essential for this role.

Proof of previous TIG welding codings are preferred but aren't essential as you will be coded by the company.

In return for your experience, you will receive a salary between £17.00 PAYE and £22.35 CIS or Umbrella as well as a range of other benefits.

This role is open to applicants looking for both full time permanent positions and short term sub contract work
