Job Title: Administrative Support Assistant
Pay Rate: £14.43 Per Hour
Contract: 3 Month Contract, with the possibility of an extension
Working Hours: 35 Hours Per Week, Mon - Fri
Location: Colindale, NW9 5HA
Job Purpose:
To provide vital administrative and logistical support for student housing activities during the Summer Lets Programme and preparation for the September 2025 student intake. The role will support coordination of key services, delivery of welcome materials, and the organisation of student-focused events and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Summer Departures (from 23rd June 2025):
Organise and manage departure key returns and resident files.
Ensure keys are correctly logged and returned to the appropriate storage.
Assist with archiving or preparing files for the next intake.
Summer Lets Programme:
Work alongside the Summer Lets Coordinator (Solomie) to support short-term lettings.
Prepare and organise information packs and keys for summer let residents.
Maintain accurate records of arrivals, departures, and occupancy.
Liaise with summer lets staff to ensure smooth operations and high service standards.
September 2025 Student Intake Preparation:
Assist with the placement of posters and informational material in all flats (Platt & Writtle House).
Assemble and deliver resident welcome packs to rooms.
Help coordinate student arrivals, including check-in processes.
Support the delivery and setup of welcome events (e.g. Welcome Party on 26th September 2025).
Provide administrative and practical assistance during high-traffic periods.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks to deadline.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Comfortable with manual tasks (e.g. delivering materials across accommodation blocks).
Flexible and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable:
Previous experience working in a student accommodation or events environment.
Understanding of student needs in a residential setting.
Confidence in working independently during busy periods
