Our client, a well-established company in the rail industry, is currently seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager. This role requires a strong background in rail projects, with a specific focus on electrification and communications. As an M&E Project Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing multiple projects and managing sub-contractors. An electrical bias is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a range of M&E projects
Coordinate and liaise with sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards
Monitor project progress, identify any issues or risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including design and engineering teams, to ensure smooth project execution
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management
Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and best practices
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

Significant experience in M&E project management, preferably within the rail industry
Strong understanding of rail electrification and communications systems
Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
Sound knowledge of project management methodologies and practices
Electrical bias and relevant qualifications are essential
Highly organised, with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
