Next Generation are pleased to have been appointed to recruit for a Service Engineer to work for a well-established organisation who specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke products. As the Service Engineer you will be responsible for providing telephone and on-site technical support to a variety of clients within the Marine and Rail industries.

Working hours for the Service Engineer:

* Monday – Thursday (7.30am – 4.30pm)

* Friday (7.30am – 1.30pm)

Duties of the Service Engineer:

* Site installation and configuration of equipment

* Service and repair of machinery and equipment on customer sites

* Fitting, wiring and assembly of products

* Fault finding on both mechanical & electrical systems

* Complete Site Reports

* Prepare reports on equipment status and service history

* Work with cross functional departments to improve product performance and reliability

* Forge quality customer relationships by liaising professionally with customers whilst on site

The successful candidate for the Service Engineers position will have the following experience:

* Formal electrical qualification or apprenticeship (Desirable)

* UK/EU Travel (Essential)

* Understanding of schematic & engineering drawings

* Full UK driving licence
