An established manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires a CNC turner skilled machinist.
Duties:
* Programming, operating and setting CNC turning machines with Mazatrol, Siemens and G code control systems.
* Working from engineering drawings.
* Using measurement/inspection equipment including verniers, bore gauges, micrometres etc.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years CNC programming experience.
* Competent on all aspects of setting tools, including understanding cutting speeds and feeds, boring, drilling, threading.
* Understanding and the ability to work from engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of CAD/CAM preferable.
Hours:
* 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday.
