A leading UK-based main contractor is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to join its dynamic team in Birmingham. With schemes spanning residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed-use developments, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping high-profile projects across the region.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the commercial delivery of construction and development projects from pre-construction through to completion
Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flows to ensure financial targets are met
Oversee procurement strategies and subcontractor negotiations
Provide commercial insight and strategic direction to optimise project performance
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies
Mentor and support junior commercial staffRequirements:

Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within construction or property development
Strong understanding of contracts (JCT/NEC) and commercial management principles
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
