Electrical Technician / Panel Wirer

Location: Bridgwater, Taunton, Ilminster, Yeovil, Chard, Tiverton, Minehead

Salary: £35,600 & company benefits

As an Electrical Technician / Panel Wirer, your responsibilities will include the planning and wiring of a wide range of machines and control panels, following detailed electrical drawings. This position is a challenging and exciting role within a dynamic and innovative company.

You will be required to work as part of a team and be competent in wiring electrical equipment, including PLC control systems, motors, drives, relays, transformers, and HMI’s. There will also be a large element of on-machine wiring involving trunking, cable tray, junction boxes, and various sensors.

* Ideally a fully time served electrician with control panel/on machine wiring experience

* Ensure machines are assembled & completed in accordance with safety standards & compliance, to British, European, and International standards.

* Working to a high standard, quality testing and checking machine for electrical & wiring faults.

* Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills

* Ability to work independently of others with minimal support

* 18th edition of the wiring regulations

* Ability to read electrical drawings

* Hours are 8am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8am-1.30pm on Friday
