A dedicated and inspiring Mathematics Teacher is required for a permanent part-time position at an Outstanding mixed school in Brent, commencing in September. This is an excellent opportunity to foster a love for mathematics and develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) within a supportive and high-achieving environment in West London.

Responsibilities

* You will plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that challenge and inspire students, catering to a range of abilities.

* The role involves expertly guiding students through mathematical concepts, from foundational principles to more complex topics, following a well-structured and rigorous curriculum.

* You will cultivate a supportive and encouraging classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore mathematical ideas, develop their reasoning, and build confidence in their abilities.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong specialism in Mathematics is essential.

* Experience teaching engaging and effective Mathematics lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.

* A deep and current understanding of mathematical concepts, coupled with the ability to make the subject accessible and engaging, is expected.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to foster a positive learning culture, are vital.
