Job Title: Product Quality Checker | Location: Mansfield (NG17 Area)

We are currently seeking a Quality Checker to join our clients team in the Mansfield NG17 area. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and testing sand materials once extracted from the site and before they leave, to ensure there is no contamination.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out analysis and testing on washing, drying, bagging, fibresand, steriliser, gravel, soil screening plants.

* Inspect stock piles

* Brick strength tests.

* Ensure materials meet quality and safety standards

* Record findings and input data accurately into spreadsheets

* Report directly to the Technical Manager

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role (essential)

* Good understanding of lab testing procedures

* Computer literate – comfortable using spreadsheets and data entry

* Own transport is required due to site location

* Willingness to work occasional night shifts if required

Hours:

* Days: 7am – 5pm (10 hrs Mon-Fri).

* Nights: 5pm – 5am (12 hrs Mon–Thur), extra nights may sometimes be needed, the shift lengths would be adjusted accordingly.

* Wknds: 5am – 1pm (8 hrs sporadic) unless working nights midweek.
