About the Project Manager Role (Lift Installations)
You'll take full responsibility for end-to-end lift project delivery-from planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and client handover. You'll manage complex works on multiple sites, including new installations, modernisations, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities - Project Manager (Lift Installations)
Manage lifecycle delivery of lift projects: budget, schedule, quality & safety
Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and smooth handover to clients & service teams
Ensure compliance with CDM, HSE guidelines and RAMS documentation
Coordinate engineers, site managers, subcontractors, and client teams
Lead daily briefings, site inspections and quality assurance processes
Supervise plant, tools, lifting plans, temporary works and logistics
Track project progress, maintain documentation and report regularly to stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and main contractors
Manage defect resolution and project close-out
What We're Looking For - Project Manager (Lift Installations)
5-7 years' experience in lift installation/modernisation projects
3+ years managing delivery teams and multi-site projects
Recognised construction/project management qualifications
Certifications: SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator, Lifting Competency
Experience in major infrastructure projects (e.g. rail, freight) is a strong plus
Excellent communication, planning, negotiation & HSE awareness
Able to handle pressure, prioritise tasks and lead site execution
