We are seeking a highly experienced and confident Cover Supervisor to join secondary schools in the Cannock area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled education professional who thrives in a classroom environment and has a genuine passion for supporting young people in their learning.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

*

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

*

Engage students in learning and maintain a focused classroom environment.

*

Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and conduct.

*

Adapt quickly to different school settings and subjects as required.

Requirements:

*

A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a UK secondary school.

*

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

*

Flexibility and adaptability across a range of subjects and year groups.

*

A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training can be provided).

*

A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
