Porter / Caretaker – temp to perm

There are only 14 apartments and this is a non desk-based, hands on porter role, with a chair provided for break purposes only. Duties include post and parcel distribution, daily rubbish collection from outside residents’ apartments, and general porterage tasks. A key responsibility of the role is brass polishing, which is considered essential and must be carried out daily or every other day depending on condition. Brass fittings are located throughout the building, including lift gates, entry phone, front door panels, and door knobs. Additional responsibilities include hoovering all floors from basement to fifth floor, dusting, polishing communal areas, and maintaining a consistently high standard of presentation throughout the building.
