Electrical Supervisor – Healthcare Facilities

We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader in integrated facilities management for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical maintenance operations across a flagship healthcare estate. Spanning three major hospitals and associated healthcare centres, this role is critical to ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient running of essential electrical systems in a live clinical environment.

The Role:

Lead and supervise a team of electrical engineers delivering both reactive and planned maintenance

Oversee the operation and integrity of electrical systems, including LV distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and controls

Ensure statutory compliance, testing, and documentation (e.g. emergency lighting, fire alarms, fixed wire testing) are completed accurately and on time

Act as the technical lead for electrical issues, supporting fault diagnosis and resolution

Manage work allocation, contractor coordination, and support project upgrades where required

Conduct audits, inspections, and toolbox talks to promote best practices in health & safety and compliance

About You:

Qualified Electrician (18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)

Proven experience supervising or managing electrical teams in a facilities management or healthcare setting

Strong technical knowledge of LV systems, compliance testing, and building services infrastructure

Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure, live environment

Sound understanding of permit-to-work systems, RAMS, and statutory safety procedures

Desirable:

Experience working in healthcare, hospital, or critical environments

HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
