Description

As the Operations Manager, you will,

Oversee and manage daily logistics operations within the business
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards across all processes
Develop and implement strategies to optimise operational efficiency
Lead, coach, and support the logistics team to achieve departmental goals
Implement and analyse key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
As part of the wider supply chain, manage the Customer Service team, ensuring robust processes are in place, and systems are removing non-value activity
Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet business objectives.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

Previous experience in logistics management ideally within the healthcare sector, supporting a face paced, same day delivery operation
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, improving performance and skill sets
Excellent understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Competency in utilising data to assess and improve operational performance, this will include strong Excel skills (pivot tables / Macros etc)
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across departments.
