A leading fresh produce nursery in North Yorkshire is looking for a motivated Assistant Grower to join its friendly and passionate team. Set across 14 hectares of glasshouse production, this site grows high-quality cucumbers, aubergines, and tomatoes for major UK retailers using cutting-edge sustainable practices.

Working alongside the Growing Manager, you’ll help deliver healthy, high-yield crops on time and to spec—while learning from some of the best in the business.

What you’ll do:

* Support day-to-day crop management and planning

* Monitor pest and disease control strategies

* Ensure accurate forecasting and communication with the supply chain

* Help implement growing programmes using advanced systems like Priva

* Drive quality, efficiency, and innovation in every task

What you’ll bring:

* A passion for growing and crop production

* Attention to detail and a hands-on, proactive mindset

* Excellent communication and IT skills

* Willingness to learn and develop through CPD

Even better if you have:

* Previous glasshouse growing experience

* Familiarity with Priva software

* PA1 & PA6 spray certificates
