Job Description:

We are currently recruiting an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee Mechanical and Electrical works across two school projects in Neath Port Talbot. Working on behalf of a reputable main contractor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of all M&E works on site, ensuring quality, health & safety, and programme adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical installations on site.

Liaise with subcontractors, site team, and the main contractor’s management to ensure works are progressing as planned.

*

Monitor quality, health & safety, and compliance with regulations and project specifications.

*

Attend site meetings, progress reviews and provide regular updates to the project management team.

*

Resolve any site issues promptly to minimise disruption to the programme.

*

Ensure timely handover of M&E elements in line with the overall project schedule.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager, preferably on education or public sector projects.

*

Strong technical knowledge of both mechanical and electrical installations.

*

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.

*

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

*

Ability to work to tight schedules and manage multiple contractors on site
