Learning Support Assistant - Southwark - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This full-time, long-term role is available for an immediate start and will continue until the end of the academic year.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both in the classroom and in small group settings. You will work closely with teaching staff to adapt lessons, implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and help ensure that every student can reach their full potential.

To be considered for this Learning Support Assistant role, you must have:

Previous child-based experience, ideally within a school or educational setting

Experience supporting students with SEND

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Excellent communication skills and a patient, proactive attitude
