MET Technician

Location: Redhill
Salary: Up to £23 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 45 hours per week (with additional overtime available)
Extras: Bonus on target up to £8,000 per annum

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join their leading team. You’ll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications in a state-of-the-art bodyshop, using modern tools and repair techniques.

Qualifications Required for an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician

You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician and gained a technical qualification such as NVQ, ATA, IMI, or SVQ
You must have previous experience working in a busy bodyshop as an MET Technician or MET Strip Fitter
You will have experience with geometry work and 4-wheel alignment
You will demonstrate diagnostic training and strong knowledge of up-to-date vehicle repair techniques
You should be a team player with a proactive attitude and the motivation to earn bonus hours

Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
