Science Technician - Oxford, Oxfordshire

Join a secondary school in Oxford, Oxfordshire as a Science Technician and play a vital role in delivering exciting, safe, and well-resourced practical science lessons!

Key Duties:

Prepare, assemble, and modify apparatus for Biology, Chemistry & Physics

Make solutions and materials following CLEAPSS protocols

Deliver & collect equipment from labs; maintain stock & COSHH records

Trial experiments and assist with demonstrations

Dispose of waste safely and correctly

Maintain risk assessments, equipment, and specimens

Support H&S compliance, attend meetings, and complete first aid duties

Requirements:

Relevant Science Degree
Lab or school technician experience preferred

Knowledge of lab safety, COSHH & CLEAPSS

Enhanced DBS Checked (or willing to apply)
