Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys leading a team and keeping things running smoothly?
Do you have experience in food or FMCG manufacturing and want to take the next step in your career?

We're working with a well-established food manufacturer in the Northwest who is looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join their team. This is a key role where you'll lead a small team of engineers to keep the factory moving - fixing breakdowns, managing maintenance, and making sure everything runs safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing:

Leading and supporting a team of engineers on shift
Working closely with the Engineering Manager
Responding quickly to breakdowns and working to get things back up and running
Organising and completing planned maintenance
Making sure health & safety and food safety standards are always followed
Helping to improve how things are done - better processes, less downtime
Working closely with production and other departments to solve problems and get results

What we're looking for:

A strong background in engineering (mechanical, electrical or multiskilled)
Experience working in food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
Someone who can lead by example and get the best out of others
A problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
Flexible, reliable and a good communicator
