Search are seeking a technically strong Accountant with solid experience in both financial accounting and management accounting to join a well-established organisation in Liverpool on a full-time, permanent basis with hybrid working options.

This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can deliver accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to support statutory requirements and internal business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage monthly and period-end financial reports
Analyse budget vs actual costs
Support forecasting and cash flow management
Inter-company reconciliations and maintain balance sheet
Oversee payroll accounting entries and related reconciliations
Support statutory compliance
Tax returns and financial statement preparation
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
Respond efficiently to financial queries from stakeholders
Review and process supplier and expense payments
Contribute to finance projects The ideal candidate will have:

A recognised accounting qualification or working towards (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Strong technical expertise across financial and management accounting principles
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently across the organisation
A proactive, organised and deadline-driven approachThe benefits include:
