Our client requires a Project Manager to join their team within the power burner department. This role would suit someone who has knowledge of full project cycle from start to finish and been involved with burners. A chemical background with mechanical and electrical experience would be very advantageous.

Your duties would include:

* Managing a project’s full life cycle and coordinating the drafting for the project.

* Assist in the designing and production of engineering drawings and also detailing equipment needed.

* Confirm equipment selection and make sure it is fit for purpose and establish it is the best design to work with the project.

* Co-ordinate all technical and commercial communication relating to the project. Make sure everyone is kept up to speed with progress.

* Maintaining change management making sure sales and estimating department are kept up to date at all times

* Produce invoices for finance.

* You may have to do quotations and support sales occasionally and visit other sites for assessment.

Experience

* Must have mechanical and electrical knowledge

* Ability to read CAD drawings

* Strong project engineering experience. You must have been in a similar role for at least 5 years.

* A relevant Engineering degree

A salary of £70,000 - £75,000 depending on your experience.

The position is in the Peterborough area and you must be within a 30-minute commutable distance of Peterborough to be considered
