Tektora is proud to be partnering with Networkology on the search for a DV Cleared Nexus Engineer to support a secure MOD data centre upgrade based in London. This is a high-impact contract role focused on delivering critical infrastructure improvements in a sensitive and highly regulated environment.
You’ll be working at the heart of a secure MOD site, implementing and optimising Cisco Nexus infrastructure — including 5K, 7K, and 9K series switches — while adhering to strict security and compliance requirements.
? Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and deploy Cisco Nexus 5K, 7K, and 9K switches within a secure MOD data centre
*
Lead and execute data centre migration and upgrade activities, ensuring compliance with MOD protocols
*
Collaborate with network architects, project managers, and security teams to meet classified standards
*
Perform hands-on troubleshooting and resolve complex issues during migration and post-deployment
*
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support handover to BAU teams
? Required Skills & Experience
*
Active DV clearance (essential)
*
Proven experience within MOD or classified government environments
*
Deep expertise in Cisco Nexus 5K, 7K, and 9K switches
*
Strong networking knowledge: Layer 2/3, VDCs, vPC, FabricPath, OTV
*
Experience with large-scale data centre migrations and infrastructure upgrades
*
Familiarity with secure change control processes

Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Python)

Understanding of hybrid/cloud-integrated secure architectures
