Job Title: Workshop Maintenance Operative

Location: Hucknall
Pay Rate: Up to £14.50 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday - Days

The Company

An engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of products for the construction sector. They are looking to recruit a Workshop Maintenance Operative to support the repair and upkeep of equipment used within the fabrication environment.

The Role

This is a hands-on workshop-based role focused on maintaining and repairing fabrication tools and equipment. Duties include:

Fault finding and repairing fabrication equipment such as welding torches, grinders and general fabrication tools
Carrying out basic electrical tasks, including changing plug sockets
Working with wiring as required
Liaising with shop floor staff to identify repair requirements
Heavy lifting and physical work within the workshop
Manual handling carried out in a safe manner
Working from own initiative to complete tasks

About You

Experience in maintenance repair
Confident carrying out basic electrical work
Hands-on and practical approach
Experience fault finding and resolving mechanical issues
