Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a compassionate, creative, and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Tutor to support a young learner, currently working below age-related expectations (ARE), at a developmental level of 24-36 months in English and Maths. This tuition opportunity is for up to 15 hours per week, across multiple days. Session timings are flexible, although they must take place during school hours.
As a Tutor, you will:
Focus on: Communication development, emotional support, and educational engagement
Assist the young person with communication
Be positive, engaging and enthusiastic
Create engaging tasks which will captivate learners
Plan tasks/learning around individual learning needs
Focus on Maths and English learningAbout you:
Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with communication needs
Experience of working with the EYFS curriculum.
Experience of working with young people with ASD, Sensory needs and other additional needs
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Background in education, or alternative provisionPosition - Tutor

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools/ EYFS education settings- ESSENTIAL
Experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)- Essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
