Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Salary: £28,000 £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. This is a hands-on role assembling and inspecting in-house manufactured equipment.

Responsibilities:

Connect wiring harnesses, crimp, and solder components
Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical parts, including tubing and fittings
Support fault diagnosis and resolve assembly issues
Report quality concerns and production issues
Work to production targets and deadlines
Assist with improving assembly processes
Experience:

Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly
Strong wiring, soldering, and crimping experience
Fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good technical understanding of materials and components
Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
