About the Client
Our Client is a specialist contractor known for delivering technically challenging engineering and inspection projects across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Technical Surveyor to join their team, combining hands-on site assessments, technical reporting, and client engagement across a variety of wind-sensitive structures.
Roles/Responsibilities
Plan and execute technical surveys and condition assessments
Conduct site inspections and evaluations, producing structured technical reports
Support specialist engineering project delivery, including calculations and documentation
Contribute to cost planning and bid preparation as experience develops
Produce and maintain risk assessments and method statements
Create and amend technical drawings using AutoCAD, Autodesk, or similar software
Liaise with clients and stakeholders on project planning and timelines
Travel across UK sites with flexibility for overnight stays (expenses covered)
Qualifications
Essential:
HNC or equivalent in engineering or technical discipline
At least 3 years’ experience in surveying, inspection, or a technical engineering role
Ability to safely perform site-based work, including at height
