Nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with a well-established machine shop who have a very healthy order book. They provide services to the Energy, Oil and Gas, Renewables, Marine and MOD industries.

We currently require an experienced CNC Turner and CNC Miller who can programme using Fanuc controls for the Lathe, and CNC Mill. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture of detailed components to customer’s specification.

Duties:

* The CNC Turner will be programming, setting and operating up to 3- 4-axis CNC Lathes safely and efficiently. Programming from scratch experience using Fanuc is essential

* The CNC Miller will be setting and operating up to 3- 4-axis CNC Mills safely and efficiently. Programming from scratch using Fanuc is essential

* Read and interpret, technical drawings, must be able to work to tight tolerances

Experience:

* Proven experience of 3-4 axis machining

* Experience with Fanuc for Turner and Heidenhain for the Miller is essential

* Used to working to tight tolerances

* Used to working on a lot of one off pieces

* Medium to heavy background preferred but not essential

Remuneration:

* Up to £22ph basic DOE

* Overtime is x1.5 after 37hrs

* Double overtime on Sundays

* Opportunity to be put through CADCAM training

Working Hours- Mon – Thurs (7.45am – 4.10pm) Fri (7.45am – 12.45pm)
