Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer for one of our clients based in Oldbury. As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for the management of projects through the design and drawing office, reporting into the Design Office Manager.

Design Engineer Responsibilities:

* Design of medium rise building structures

* Provide technical support and advice to Sales Managers

* Represent the Company at design team meetings and site visits when necessary

* Management of projects through design and drawing office

Design Engineer Details:

* Location: Oldbury, Birmingham

* Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 PA

* Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and 8.30am to 1.30pm on Friday

Design Engineer Requirements:

* Experience in structural design of building structures in all materials

* Achieved a Structural or Civil Engineering Degree

* Experience using AutoCAD

* Experience working to British Standards regarding Design and structures

* Good communication skills

* Excellent organisational skills
