Private Client Solicitor
Marlborough, Wiltshire (Flexible Working)
Salary £60k - £80k + Benefits
Our small, niche private client provides bespoke legal services with a personal touch. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join the team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in private client work with a passion for delivering excellent services to a range of primarily farming and land-owning clients. Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including but not limited to:-
* Drafting wills
* Estate planning
* Trust creation and administration
* Probate and estate administration
* Powers of attorney
* Tax planning
* Providing tailored advice to a high level
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
* Collaborating with colleagues, ensuring a seamless service
* Keeping abreast of all legislative changes and best practices in private client law
* Supervising Paralegals and/or trainees as required
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and professional standards.
About You:
* Qualified Solicitor with a practising certificate in England and Wales
* Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client work
* Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including wills, trusts, probate and tax law

Qualifications and Experience:
* Law Degree / CILEX, LCP/SQE, SRA Practising Certificate.
* Experience in farming and land-owning client matters or complex estates.
* Familiarity with legal technology and case management software.
